Echhh

My latest search for plain carob resulted in Carob Buckwheat Crispbread, from the Naturally Good label.

Now, this is more like the carob I remember: no added sugar, with a muddy aftertaste. And foretaste. And duringtaste. Kill me now.

Now where did I see that 100g $6.70 bar?

can you drink Teeccino?
(It's not really a coffee substitute since it doesn't taste like coffee, but it's more-or-less drinkable in its own right.)

I had a look at the site and I'd have to say it's probably a no. I can have a coffee about once per week, as long as I don't do too many other bad things.

Does look tasty though.

Carob brownies?
All the recipes I found would need modifying of course (eg. stewed pears instead of applesauce), but then recipes are only guidelines really...
